2026 Harneys League
ABOUT
The Harneys League is a Gaelic Football League, which in 2025 consisted of over 500 players across numerous nationalities on 10 men’s teams and 8 ladies’ teams. Teams are formed based on a draft format and changed every year, with the idea of making all teams of equal quality in the men’s and ladies’ competitions. League matches take place on Friday nights and Sundays between February and May at the CIS Sports Field in Camana Bay with teams playing off against each other in order to determine a league winner. Once the league is completed, a knockout championship follows in May and June.

Teams will be released at our annual draft night on Friday 30th January at 7pm. Schedule for the league fixtures will then be finalized and released in early February, with the first round of matches taking place over the second weekend in February (6th-8th) and they will run right through to Finals Day on Saturday June 27th. If you have missed our registration deadline, we add players to teams right through the season, starting with our top-up draft in March and a secondary top-up draft in April/May as required.
